About London Decides
Who made this
London Decides was created by Sean Dollimore. Watch the Rogers tv segment on London Decides.
Most of us want a better London, even if we picture it differently. Making that happen takes a clearer understanding of how our city works, where decisions are made, and what we can do to influence them. It also takes a willingness to listen to people whose experience of London is different from our own.
I believe meaningful change becomes possible when people find one another and turn shared concerns into work they can do together. That means staying involved beyond election day and following through on the things we want to see improve. My hope is that London Decides helps more of us feel informed enough to take part, and connected enough to keep going.
I still have a lot to learn about this city. Every neighbourhood holds knowledge that a website can only begin to capture, and the people who live there know things I don’t. If something here misses what’s happening on your street, or you’d like to meet up and talk about how we can make London better, I’d welcome the conversation.
hello@londondecides.caHow London Decides took part
London Decides takes part too, the same ways any resident can. Each entry shows what was asked, and the response once there is one on the record.
ReThink Zoning, the City's new zoning by-law (draft ZBL-27, file Z-26114)
What ReThink Zoning is, in plain words →I sent a written comment on the draft by-law. October 29, 2026
Thanks to Luis Claro, whose review of the draft prompted this letter.
The draft makes most big projects easier but is stricter on small changes to buildings that already exist. I asked staff to fix eight drafting gaps in the January 2027 report so about 3,000 houses and small buildings keep the uses they have today.

No ads, no memberships. Four things help:
- Share it
Group chats, Facebook groups, the neighbour who says City Hall never listens. That's how this spreads. There's no ad budget; you're it.
- Correct it
Spot an error, a dead link, or something unfair? corrections@londondecides.ca. Corrections are made promptly and noted.
- Questionnaire answers
Every 2026 candidate was sent the same questionnaire, and answers are published word for word. Elected members who didn’t answer still can, and “no response” stays public. Ask yours to add theirs.
- Tell me what's missing
An issue your street cares about that isn't on your ward page? Say so. The best pages here were built from what residents raise.
