PUBLIC RECORD · CITY EXPENSE DISCLOSURES, 2023–2026
Office spending
Office expenses councillors billed to the city, from the city's own quarterly reports. These are office budgets (travel, conferences, tech, constituency costs), not salaries. Spending exists so councillors can do constituency work — low is not automatically virtue, high is not automatically waste.
TERM TOTALS, TO SCALE · 2023 THROUGH 2026 Q1 · WARD = THIS TERM
Annual figures come from the city's year-end (4th quarter) cumulative postings, which list every expense from January through December of that year; interim quarterly postings are superseded by these year-end documents. 2026 covers Q1 only.
Totals cover the councillor office accounts in each disclosure: General Expense Account, Subscriptions & Memberships, Councillors' Office Travel Account, and Councillors' Office Postage Account. Line items include event tickets, conference registration and travel, ward meetings, office supplies, contract assistant hours, newsletters/mailouts, advertising, and a transportation allowance.
Expenses billed through external board memberships appear in the same disclosures but are excluded from these totals: Susan Stevenson (London Police Services Board $8,616.15 in 2023; $12,965.28 in 2024; $6,071.08 in 2025; plus Middlesex-London Paramedic Services Authority Board $1,116.11 in 2024 and $1,134.27 in 2025; Western Fair Association $541.50 in 2024 and $299.72 in 2025), Steve Lehman (Police Services Board $127.20 in 2023), Elizabeth Peloza (Western Fair Association $273.00 in 2024).
The city's postings note that some 4th-quarter 2023, 4th-quarter 2024, and 1st-quarter 2026 items were pending reconciliation by Financial Services when published and are subject to change.
2022 is excluded: the city's 2022 posting covers the full calendar year, which mostly belongs to the previous council term (this council took office November 15, 2022), and December-only amounts are not separable.
The mayor is not included in these reports and no separate quarterly mayor's-office expense report is posted on the city-council page; the annual signed Statements of Remuneration and Expenses for Elected Officials (which include the mayor) are at https://london.ca/sites/default/files/2025-03/2024%20Statements%20signed.pdf.
runningIn2026 reflects the site's roster snapshot (June 30 / July 3, 2026); nominations remain open until August 21, 2026. Paul Van Meerbergen had not filed as of that snapshot but no source confirms retirement; Jerry Pribil is on leave from council to run provincially and has not filed municipally.
